Hi folks. Ray Kloose here. Let me explain the premise of Writing Gold Mine. It's very simple. I have friends who have written good stories, poems and screenplays and most of their works are collecting dust (or magnetic dust if stored on the hard drive.) I too am a writer but I am not as talented as my hard-driving friends. I would like to publish my books someday but seeing the frustrations they have endured at not getting published, I am discouraged from doing so.
This blog is dedicated to the premise that publishers and agents are inept, not just at assessing talent but at assessing marketability as well. At WGM, me will present snippets or full works of writing that are gold nuggets just waiting to be sluiced. We will also link to items of interest for writers and publishers as well as link to items of general interest. We welcome published and unpublished writers. Post your work here and get noticed.
